I celebrated Thanksgiving here in Virginia. I spent the holiday with Ligoleni and her family (she braids my hair). Ligoleni and her family are from Malawi, the same place in Africa where my parents are from. Ligoleni graduated from Randolph-Macon College last year. In between braiding hair she also works as a temp sometimes. Thanksgiving was okay, we ate alot, had fun and talked day and night. I actually had a good time. She gave me some of the picture from thursday today.

Well, Robin Thicke's new Album, "The Evolution of Robin Thicke" will be out on Valentines Day in 2006. I can't wait to get it. I really enjoyed his first album and I listen to it all the time on my ipod. I just hope he get the attention he deserves from this album.

I found some of his TRL Pictures (the photos come of of his fan forum site). I have and will never watch a episode of MTV'S TRL. But I feel bad for missing this episode. Here are the pictures. I wished I lived in New York so I could see him close up.



I also have a clip of him on the TRL show. I hope MTV plays his video becasue , they really didin't pay any attetion them him the last time.

Meet Marguerite Perrin she is the true god warrior.


Last weeks show was sorta crazy, but last night was just insane. I bet her husband changed all the locks as soon as she left. This woman needs her own show, I would watch every week. Please Fox give her a show.


The outburst and the self-righteous arrogance didn't surprise me. What made me bust out laughing was that after the show told her how Jade distributed the money, suddenly she took the money. What a hypocrite! I guess after her Gastric surgery she will be thinner but still the same ole Marguerite.

We'll I finally got to celebrate my 18th birthday properly this Saturday. First thing I did was get my hair braided again and got my first manicure and pedicure. Which felt sorta weird but I liked it at the same time as well. I bought a new pink dress and a silver African necklace. Natalia and I went out to a really nice soul food resturant and had some good food.

Here's the dress with my hair up and down (Forgive the vanity but I really love this dress. I doubt I'll ever wear it anytime soon)



Also I'm working on two papers right now on Assata Shakur & Alice Walker. I got alot of positive comments on my Howard Zinn paper. I started reading his books back in Junior High School. I just love his quote "You Can't Be Neutral on a Moving Train.". I am going to rent his documentary this weekend, my professor recommended that I see it.
